Yes, Dave, we happened to be on our way to Seattle when the bridge
went down. We knew nothing until we landed and everyone turned their
cell phones back on. It's all people were talking about while waiting
for our luggage. Our son had left us a voicemail, letting us know
that he and our daughter were fine. Living in the south metro, Deb
and I rarely use that part of 35W. Living in that area, however, both
our kids use it quite often.

Truly a trajedy but could have been much worse.

We know thatBryanKellyis OK because he left for Seattle this
morning. Haven't heard from any other pinheads up here, but we
certainly hope they and their families are all OK, along with all
other Minnesotans.

is a couple lanes in each direction, and another lane or two for exiting off
of 35w. There has been work on the bridge, so traffic may have been reduced
to fewer lanes. I am hoping for the best, but right now it looks pretty
awful there. Apparently the school bus with kids, rescuers have gotten the
