Hey Clay. I'm liking the new format, but don't give up on the
interviews!
As for suggestions...
Some of us could use slightly more advanced repair lessons (although I
did learn a thing or two from the "Setting up and Cleaning" video!)
such as replacing toasted connectors, rebulding flippers and other PF
mechs, shop outs ect...
I'd also love to see some of the older arcade games (pre and early
video) besides pinball in some detail.

We have started doing video presentations
at TOPcast, as filler when we don't have any
audio interview shows set up. The TOPcast
Videos are short 30 minute podcasts, geared
towards entry-level gameroom newbies.
We have currently done two 30 minutes videos
so far, covering pinball stuff. These can be seen
at iTunes via an iPod or at the TOPcast web page:http://www.marvin3m.com/topcast/past.phphttp://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=217728143
Question:
Where should the show go from here?
We have the intention of covering video games,
gun games, bowlers, hockey games, and other
gameroom stuff. But i don't see that as taking
an incredible number of shows to cover.
Some other ideas are to visit other people's
gamerooms, in a kind of "show and tell" format.
Any other ideas for TOPcast Video? Remember,
this is format does not compete with TOP
(This Old Pinball), so repair stuff generally won't
be covered.
Thanks!
