Always start with switch / solenoid test before you do anything. First
I would do a coil test and see if that worked. I would look, feel wire
connection to that popper. Then a switch test if the popper worked
during test. Lloyd or someone might help with new issue. Good luck.
Do you know Clay's site. Great reading. Thats a start.

I did the solenoid test and that is why I went and took off the
solenoid popper assembly. It would not pop.
