have a couple laptops, FTP server pc, and MAME pc that I check RGP on, but
they are older P4's and a P3's. I can't count the servers since I don't
normally browse RGP on them :)
The new pc is a P4 3.6GHZ dual processor 2GB Memory and 250 GB drives in
Raid 1+0... It will be running Ubuntu 7 and Vista Business via dual boot!
I can't wait to get it!
So what do you guys use to browse RGP?
Mac iBook G4 with Unison software.
I got the MAC for the secure and reliable operating system - no one has yet written a virus that will reproduce on the MAC! The operating system is so solid. If I have a lockup on a program I simply close that program and restart it. Never lost any data! Just soooo much better than all the PCs running MS crap that I cursed since the early 80's
Unison is nice as an newsreader. But I miss AGENT on the PC - it has the ability to store messages at the top of the newsgroup section so you can refer to them later - much later at times. Easier than searching with Google for a subject you barely remember the title of...
