Re: STERN Pinball Machines - Video Modes?

Anyways, for you guys that have played these newer Stern games, can
you tell us if they have video modes AND if they do what the video
mode is all about?

* NASCAR
* Ripleys - Believe it or Not!
* The Simpsons Pinball Party
* Monopoly

I've owned at least one of each of the above and I can tell you for
sure that there are no video modes in any of them. I think video
modes in Stern games are few and far between - I only remember the
waste-of-time DDR mode in Elvis (which didn't play very well either).
I'm not a video mode hater, but if they're going to be in there I
prefer them to be quick (a la Black Rose swinging over to the ship or
knife throw). The only longer ones that seemed to fit with the game
really well were the ones in HS2 and the shuttle in STTNG. Might be
nice to make this operator-disableable (sure, that's a word).
