Strange Science might be "Smashed into pieces"

Hi,
I was talking about a Strange Science last week and discussing if it
was worth $400 to $500 dollars.
After I went there to see it and finally got power to it - YUCK
2 Displays are almost shot,
Boots, but doesn't start,
Playfield maybe a 6.5
Cab was an 8
Ramps were all OK, and back glass was excellent,
It just would start, and I didn't feel it was worth the $400.
I told him it was in a different condition than was described and
declined to take it.
He told me that was fine, he was gong to SMASH IT, and to look for it
in a week, smashed, outside in the trash (I will be!)
I told him not to smash it and I'd offer $200. He said he would have
more fun smashing it.
OH WELL
Maybe I'm really cheap, but I think there are too many people out
there that pins are worth their weight in gold.
