Re: Pin-A-Go-Go Panoramic Pictures and a New Website Announcement

Always great to see you at the shows, Steve! Love the new web page! Works just fine for me in old IE 6. Nice pans, of course! :)

Greetings from Dixon, California! I've just uploaded some PAGG
interactive panoramas to:

www.pinsane.com/pinorama/events/PAGG_07

You'll need either a JAVA enabled browser or a Quicktime plugin to
view the panoramas. Simply select a pano by clicking on one of the
thumbnails. Put your cursor on the picture, press and hold the left
mouse button, and drag the cursor in the direction you want to look.
You can even zoom in or out by following the directions at the bottom
of the screen.

Note that these panoramas are being posted to a new website. You'll
also find an archive of the panoramas from previous pinball events
rehosted here. I'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank
Chris Enright and Brian Merry for previously hosting these panoramas
on their www.ocpinball.com website. Chris served as webmaster for the
site, and patiently reloaded the pictures multiple times as I learned
how to write HTML. Often times I would send him updates in the middle
of the night and found them hosted by early morning. Thanks so much
for all you guys did to make these freely available!

Well, it's about time I stand on my own two feet and design my own
website. www.pinsane.com is my initial attempt to comply with modern
website standards (HTML4 and CSS) so please let me know if the website
doesn't work on your browser. Older browsers and less capable mobile
browsers unfortunately may not be able to render this website if they
don't support CSS well.

Regarding this years PAGG, what a show! This is the one pinball event
that my buddy Randy Peck carves in stone on his calendar, and it's
easy to see why. From Larry's finely tuned woodrails, to the history
lessons from the affable Steve Charland, to the tons of modern
machines playing well--it's a pinhead's dream. In my opinion, PAGG is
probably pinball's friendliest show, with laidback pinheads sharing
beers in the parking lot or breaking bread at Cattleman's Steakhouse.
Pin-a-go-go always reminds me of what great people are involved in
this hobby, it was such a treat to spend time with the likes of
Cliffy, Randy, Rick, Ray, Jill, Bailey, Nate, Martin, Steve, Josh,
John, Pat, Brett, Brad, Randy, Eric, Tim, Walt, Matt, Sam and many
more who make this such a fun event.
