Rate increase? Thousands of retired postal workers thank you. You know
you could get a job at the post office. Work as slow as you want,
never put the stuff you use everyday at your window, shoot the S**
with a little old lady while 10+ people wait in line. Then retire in
20 years and get a full pension and tell everyone to suck it. J/K ?

Actually, there is no longer a defined benefit plan for postal
workers. The plan in place is a defined contribution plan. Postal
workers and retireees are not receiving the benefit.
So...What about the usps employed before January 1, 1984?
I Re-tired from the Postal Service in 1991 ( Disabled ) & I dont
regret it a Bit, Our PO sucks so bad its not funny & If you bring up a
problem & They have LOTS of them they just "Try" & blame things that
go on in Washington DC,, A Crock of BS & They know I Know it !! ( I
was a City Carrier & not a Clerk ), If it wasn't for the Money Orders
I could do with out them !
