Hey All -

Just got back from Allentown - And it was my first time -

Got the wife up at 5am to drive from Bel Air MD. About 2 1/2 hour
drive directly north of us.

We made it up there around 8ish...

Had to pay to enter the Flea Market area which I thought was stupid -
Most of the vendors in the flea market area were just unpacking at 8
am and even as it got close to 10 am they still were not unpacked...

There was a lot of project PINS and 2 awesome deals for a CREECH and
STNG at 2400 - 2300 respectively... One dealer had high end resto's
but a $4500 Funhouse turned me away before even asking the other
prices... Their MB was already sold which was what I was looking
for...

Manage to meet Jack and he was giving away kick @$$ T-Shirts... I tore
off my shirt and threw it on - Hey, that is one heck of a billboard
for advertisement there... Now if only we can get him to advertise on
SPEEDO's - hehe...

The Farmers Market across the street had some killer foods and the
wife got herself a nice cup of some yuppy kind of coffee...

10 am rolls around and it was not jam packed to get in...

Tried numerous machines that I never played before - If any machine
went down they started working on it -

All and all the machines were good - There was one guy obsessed with
getting a ToM Level?!?

Games I did not see though:

Blackhole or Haunted House (None for sale either)
POTC (None for sale either)
NASCAR (None for sale either)
AFM (None for sale either)
SPIDERMAN (STERN) - WTF only one of the biggest pinball conventions
around and they could not get one for the tourney...
LOTR (None for sale either)
CV (None for sale either)
Safe Cracker (None for sale either)

As for the inside dealers - Well - I thought they would be bringing
rare or hard to come by items, or even items that were from left over
machine restos or something... 99% of the stuff they had I could have
ordered online - Yeah I would have paid shipping but I had to pay
Taxes up there...

I picked up a 1982 GOTTLIEB Parts book and a new cord for the Black
Hole I picked up on Ebay last week and I was going to buy some This
Old Pinball DVDs but when I told the Lady I would be back she replied
in the smartest way "Yeah, whatever!". Even my wife wanted to kick the
crap out of her... Oh well - their lost - I can order it from BAA or
MARCO or whatever...

All and All - I wished I would have had more time for the tourneys and
play every game but due to having to get back to the house to feed
puppies and what not it crunched my time... I do recommend taking the
misses or a friend cause it was nice to have company on the ride and
Oh yeah MAPQUEST SUCKS!!!!...

Hope to see you all next year and thanks for Hosting the Event!!!

Bel Air MD

There was two Black Holes in the Flea market, I got the one from
Steve at Best Amusements. I took some Pics before I tear it down for a
good cleaning.http://www.flickr.com/photos/85077312@N00/

That was Marco at the show, he just was showing his new products and
other advertising items. He really doesnt bring alot to the show, just
offers discount cards for attending the show to buy the parts online.
