Ok out of the machines I picked up this weekend, I think I FINALLY
understand...

I picked up a Spy Hunter and a Gottlieb Dragon.. Now I understand why
you have to give Dragon's away. Damn I love pinball but this game is
terrible.. Its a damn shame its a working game, but is it even worth
anything sold complete? Id really hate to part a working machine just
cause I cant sell it... Is it worth $500 to anyone? I imagine thats
close to what it is worth in parts...

Backglass probally a 7.5 or so. Little light flaking in the flesh
tones, playfield probally a 7. No major wear just the usual 29 year
old PF. Cab pretty decent. Plastics are pretty nice, power supply is
very clean, driver board 100%, CPU very very clean... Everything works
100%... Ebay for $500 maybe?

Spy Hunter, humm this could have been a decent game, but they screwed
it up too. This is definately gonna be a flipper. Probally hold onto
it till Christmas, unless anyone wants it. And yes it works... Nice
clean working boardset, playfield very nice. Cab average. Backglass,
nice except for a little flake in the bottom edge. Anyone dying for
this one?

Thoughts/opinions?

So if I remember correctly, you spent $100 on this game... and it had
at least $300 worth of good parts inside of it... and now you complain
that you don't like it and can't sell it for over $500? Jeez, wish all
my problem machines worked out so well! =)

Yeah kinda being a bit of a hypocrtic (spelling?-Im from KY so dont
laugh) there aren't I... Forget what I found in the machine that is
unimportant..

What I meant is the components of this machine are worth more than the
machine is being complete and playable..Really would be kinda stupid
to sell it for $250 wouldnt it, when I could take the boards out and
sell them and get $300..

I got my options I guess:

1) try and sell complete for $400-$500 ebay maybe?
2) take boards out and sell for $150 or so?
3) or part the whole damn thing and make maybe $600?

I dont usually buy my machines with the intent to flip them, but this
case I did.. Anyone want one? Seriously...
