I have a box full of newly purchased pin led s for my KISS and EBD.
Now I read this, please say it aint so. So am I correct in saying the
power in the game is not enough to power the led s without burnig
something up? What do I have to do to make it right? Anyone else
running these, with no trouble?
Unfortunately, this is true for many machines. For example, DMD machines
can raise the load on the +5V line by one amp or more. Just -try- adding an
additional 1 amp load to a TZ's 5V regulator!
7-Segment displays such as KISS and EBD machines are far, far less power
hungry than the DMD's. You may get by with the existing supply but it will
be heavier loaded.
