Hey Frenchy,
This seems like an odd question given that we are talking about a bank
reset coil. I'm interested in knowing why too. Is the coil currently
on the assembly the correct coil or are you trying to make a weaker
spec'd coil work for the assembly? Enquiring minds want to know...

If I wanted to increase the power of a 23-800 drop target coil just a
tad, like 5-10%, nothing major - what would be the best option,
removing some windings, or finding a slightly more powerful coil? If
windings, how many to remove?
Anybody know the next Stern coil (or other pin maker) application that
would be slightly more powerful than a 23-800? Can I just go by their
ohms ratings and use one that's in the same gauge range but a little
lower ohmage?
Thanks!
