If the prism loses its memory will it or will it not still be seen by the
motherboard? Or would it just come up as hard disk not found?

I didn't check the other voltages, just the 5vdc. I will check the

There
is
a little LED on the prism card that lites yellow, is this correct?

What are all the power readings for the connector that hooks into
the
motherboard. You should have +5, -5, +12, -12. The connectors that
plug into hard disks, etc from the power supply won't help diagnose
the problem.

I will double check that now. What would be a good setting?

Did you check the voltage from the power supply in the computer
box?
If the voltage the power supply is putting out is not right, it
can
make it so the Prism card is unrecognized.

Yes,the little yellow led should be flashing when the game is running
right. If it stays solid then the card is not sending the software to
the motherboard. Did your old motherboard overheat? If it did you
might have to disable the CPU temp- Hide quoted text -

Its a last ditch thing you can do. I don't want to scare you but if
the old motherboard, and CPU overheated it might have taken the prism
card with it. The power supply going into the motherboard should have
the black wires in the middle,I hope you did that right. Pull the
memory out and replace it to make sure you got good contact. Failing
batteries can give you trouble as well. I know it dosent make since
but consider it.I'm not sure if disabling the CPU temp would help with
a new motherboard and CPU. But it would not hurt to try. The prism
card might need to be reprogramed if its not damaged. pinball 2000's
can be a pain in the ass sometimes.- Hide quoted text -

The reason it says no hard disk found is because there is no hard disk
with pinball 2000. Its operating system is in the prism card. If the
battery is dead it (SHOULD) still run but at times it won't. Does the
LED stay yellow or is it flashing?
