Hello , Could some one tell me what the 2007 pice guide has a LOTR
production 11/2005 for. My 2006 price guide has it at $4300 and only
made 300. I was wondering if they have dropped in the price guide.
What would a fair price be for one? I was saving up for a FG but
stumbled on this LOTR. They say it is brand new they just took it out
of the box.

Thanks

NIB LOTR from Jack at Pinball Sales is around $4800 not counting
shipping -

If you don't believe that they just took it out of the box you can
always use the AUDIT Tool and see how many games have been played with
it - Plus look at the wear on rubbers - holes and impact pieces -

As for the price guide that is all subjective and depends on your
location - condition - and of course what someone wants to sell and
what someone wants to buy at.

The question that should be asked is: Do you think that the PIN is
worth $4300 and if you are caring about material worth - no this that
LoTR sell used under $4k so it is like a car once you take it off the
lot. - Not many Pins have increased in value over what they originally
sold for NIB with relationship to in todays dollar value.

Unless you MUST have a NEW LOTR, get the FG. Several nice used and HUO
LOTR's have sold in the low 3k range recently, and I'm sure that that
more will be sold with every new release that Stern does.- Hide quoted text -

They are wanting $3200 for it. I wasn't sure if that was a good price
or save a couple hundred more for the FG.- Hide quoted text -

3200 is a decent price and if you check the audits and find any more
than 50 plays on it I would raise the BS Flag on them -

FG will be in production for another year or 2 - LoTR they are not
going to make any more - If you like the movies and have never seen FG
then you have that as an advantage - FG is a faster game though -

LOTR some experienced players dont like it but it has a deep ruleset -
Personally I like POTC but then again I was in the Navy.
