I don't think it makes you look bad. You had a problem, figured it out,
fixed it, and posted the results to help others in the future. I'd say that
makes you look pretty good ! LTG :)

The last time the main board was removed the screws were never put in
tight. I assume this means that is was poorly grounded? At any rate
after checking different outlets, moving the soda machine...etc
etc..that is what it turned out to be. But on the bright side, I
learned something along the way, including the great resource at Ray's
site...never knew it was there.
