Tech: TAF Things Hand Adjustments

OK , easy question here, but i couldnt find an answer, I just bought a
new Motor/GearBox for my addams and im adjusting Thing for movement,
just wondering in the UP setting if the magnet core should be flush
with the ball or if there was a gap between

Please let me know
