That's not it...actually if I can get a stock of free legs I want to
powder coat them and see how they turn out. I did a single one about a
month ago but there was a problem with the powder itself. A friend of
mine owns a powder coating shop and he ended up re-doing the whole set
of rims he was doing at the time, over. However, despite the color not
coming out right - the clear coat over it gave me a good idea of the
possibilities. It looks great and will stay nice and shiny. The most
you would have to do for maintenance is wipe the dust off of them with
a dry towel. I believe the two stage (clear over color) will make an
awesome upgrade for home users. I'll start with some gold, some
silver, and some black ones. If they come out nice - I'll make them
available to the group.
