John, the question is... what did the show REALLY say that was against
ANYONE'S convictions?

Not too damn much!! Trust me, I don't give a crap that someone can't
fix their own machines and would rather spend their $$ to have someone
do it for them.

What I didn't want to hear was...

Slamming people who constantly do things for others and support the
hobby (CARGPB's, LTG...)

The host insisting that he "invented" anything. (it was his idea, but
radio, even net-casting, was well established well before then)

How great CH is. (I get it.)

Slamming CH's competition.

Name calling, back biting, ect, ect...

That's why I stopped listening.

I was one of the first callers, and I called and supported in the hope
that some positive attention would maybe help fill whatever void
needed to be filled. I posted on the board, (got me some "one-stars"
^_^ ) because I knew his show could have been something really good.
The show was a great idea, but it takes work, discipline, and a little
common sense. Treat people well. Don't alienate your guests!! Don't
insult your listeners!!!

Well, we all see what happened. It's a pity too. Some people have a
hard time giving others a chance, but even when given every chance
certain people just NEED that conflict and drama. That "us against the
world-ness."

Well, this is what it got him. Gave up on his show, posting under
other names, apparetly ashamed to even show his face. Back to the old
ways as it were.

He doesn't need you to defend him, just let it go. The sooner the
better.
