Try this. Log in with a fake id and password. If it happily accepts
it, you probably have a phishing attempt.

Ebay has you login so often these days that I thought nothing of it
and entered the info to login. Then a screen pops up that says logging
out of eBay. WTF? Thinking about it I changed my password immediately.
Logged into eBay and all was fine. Clicked on the same eBay favorite
item again and it again asked for my login id and password. None of
the other favorite searches required a login so there is definitely
something fishy about that auction. I reported it to eBay.
