OT: Who still views Laserdisc movies?

Just curious: I am newbie having bought a $20 player from a local swap
meet and viewing three $5 LDs for the first time. I may be convinced
that the video quality exceeds my DVD somewhat. Everything looks so
much smoother on my TV (samsung DLP); no funny weird graduations in
color or weird stuff in scenes with lots of motion. It's not cool
flipping the disc though, but I can use a forced intermission.
I may start a little collection just picking out good widescreen
movies.
ok.. whatever.. now back to pinball.. ;)
