General Illumination Relay Board Assembly
Williams part number C-11998-1
containing:
one diode, 1N4004
one 24VDC DPDT 30A (contacts rating) relay Williams part 5580-09555-01,
which you can substitute from NTE (Mouser and others)
one 2-pin header
one 7-pin header

This assembly is used on Comet, Cyclone, and other machines... you may
just get lucky and find someplace selling these, or you can make one
up. The relay is available from mouser.com, likely from digikey.com,
and other suppliers... Next weekend I can have one in hand to copy the
traces, if you haven't already procured one.

You can find the part description on page 6 of the Cyclone parts
manual. It is listed in the Comet manual on page 20, Solenoids and
Flashers, Item 11. Also, Comet manual page 17 shows it as designation
8L11 General Illumination, and is powered by drive transistor Q56 on
CPU board 1J12 (header connector 1P12) and the wire color is
Brown-Orange, which would be the wire to the relay primary (coil), and
the non-banded end of the diode would connect to this lead. Raw power,
28V, would connect to the other relay primary, as will the banded end
of the diode. I do not know what all gi lamps are controlled by this
relay, but I presume there is a connector hanging there that has these
layed out... Is the connector present? If not, I'll also list that out
next weekend when I have it in front of me.

Both Comet and Cyclone manuals are available on ipdb.org. This relay
assy is also used in Riverboat Gambler, likely others.
