Trying to troubleshoot a left flipper hold issue on my A*F*M - WPC95
Originally when power came on, left flipper energized and stayed held on.
At this point, you needed to replace the coil and the driver
transisitors, the same time. If either one is bad, you can damage the
other (i.e. bad coil, will blow transistors, bad transistors will
damage coils.)
So I am stuck.
Thanks for any suggestions -
Also, if that coil is damaged from reverse wiring, you may damage the
circuit.
remove the coild
De-solder the diodes on the coil
check coil resistances
check diodes
reattach diodes
Then, it sounds like an open path in the hold circuit.
Check all traces, and your soldering.
Rember to check by touching the component legs, or header pins -- not
the traces on the board.
let us know if you find it.
