Re: CV 2.0H ROM question on setting

Yes, I totally agree. The ability to cancel most of the animations
immediately is HUGE (that was one of my big beefs with the old ROMs).
I wonder if a 2.1H could be made that would let us turn off Copy Cat
and make Neon M/B more frequent again.

Are there any resources for hacking or modifying ROM code out there?

Thanks for the info.

Curious: Is there a way to turn off Copy Cat mode in the CV 2.0H ROM?
The readme.txt says you can turn off Cannonball Run and Roonie, but
nothing about Copy Cat (and setting the E/B setting to off doesn't do
it - I tried).

Sadly, no, we're stuck with it. I am going to set my Copy Cat to the
minimum number of successful copies, on the basis that I always get an
extra ball, and at least that will reduce the tedium of playing Copy
Cat.

(The inability to turn off Copy Cat, and the reduced frequency of Neon
Multiballs, are the only two negatives in the 2.0H ROM. It's still a
much better ROM than the others.)
