What does it do if you leave the coin door open and switch
Off/On/Off/On?

Tri-Zone is a Systen 6 & not a System 7 Game,
I might be wrong, but the "Code" you are seeing ( 1487 1 ) Is either
the model number or
Rom ID,, It looks like you have a CPU Problem there & The Battery
holder would be
"one" of the 1st places I'd look.

I just can't seem to win on this dude. I replaced the pins on the 40-pin
interconnect (one was broken). Now it gives a number code in the player 1
display - it has a 1487 1 (space between 7 & 1). On the credits, it's an
04. Nothing else displays and no sound.
Sometimes when it comes on, the displays flicker real quick (the first 2
digits). But if you press the diagnostic button in the door, that's when it
goes 'still' and gives that 1487 1 coding.
I'd send the boards off, but I'm trying to do this myself as I'm trying to
resell it (when it works) - so trying to keep the costs down.
It did sort of work before, now I can't get anything to function - help!
