Re: Removing a Playfield from a Williams Game

Good luck on that. I played with lifting the field out last night
(fully loaded) and couldn't do it. Too cumbersome.

I stripped off everything that was in the way of the black painted wood
inside tonight (at breakneck speed) and sprayed it down with black
lacquer. Hopefully things will go nicely this time. Too bad this
stuff stinks. No more than regular spraypaint, but I still hate paint
smell. I just took two tylenol becuase of my headache.

It's no fun having to redo what you did becuase you realize you didn't
do it right the first time. However, at least it's a learning
experience, if I have to find a bright side.

Timely post. I need to pull the playfield out of my ToM tonight. I've
stripped the top of the playfield, but of course all the heavy stuff is
on the bottom. Wish me luck as I'm doing this solo!

To heck with that. My friends are never anywhere to be found when i
need to pull a field so i end up doing it by myself along with putting
them back in. It is difficult though and if I had someone to help me I
would definitely let them.

It can be done by yourself if you are tall enough to reach over and
pull it out. Just be carefull not to pull your back out when doing it.
