Re: Ted removal tips

I have seen scattered posts on how to remove Ted.
I would like to remove Ted to replace his eye coils, but I don't want
to tear the game apart.
What is the best method for removing Ted ?
From what I can tell the dozer blade is the part that makes this a bit
more complicated.

Here are a couple of posts on the subject:
Shoot 'M Again posted:
"Remove flying rocks ramp (rail)
Remove plastics that surround Ted.
Now you can remove the Bulldozer.
(two screws at each side of Ted)
(disconnect the spring first underneath the PF)
Remove helmet, face and back of head.
Remove Jawdrive motor and disconnect it from jaw.
Lift pf and remove screws tt hold Ted in place.
Now you can remove Ted from the underside of PF."

Another post on what to remove to take Ted's head out.
"You really need to take off the ramp next to him. THen you'll have
room to get in there with tools. remove the hat, the face. the dozer,
and pull it through the bottom. If you keep bending those tabs,
they'll break off."

Joe Mamma wote:
"To remove the heads, take off the plastic on top and remove the screws

that hold the plastic parts onto the "body" of it. Then go underside
and remove the bracket for the jaw motor and then remove the 4 screws
that hold the head in. Carefully remove it from the game by lowering
it out through the bottom. Unplug wires and you're there."
