Good catch - need to change the NTFS permissions on the files most likely.

If he takes ownership, it should allow him to manipulate the files

where I had the folders I am looking for), it shows folder is empty,
and when I click it I get "Access is Denied"..... Anybody got any

Looks like the old disk had permissions set on the folders. The new
system doesn't have the same accounts, so you cannot see the data
(yet). I assume this is windows 2000 or XP? You need to take
ownership of the folder. Right-click on it then click 'security',
there should be something in there about taking ownership.
