Hmm... now why did I KNOW you would say that Greg... that you never got
the displays back from me... of course!!!... Isn't it really easy to
say that???
Here are more facts for you that add up:
#1: According to my CanadaPost tracking number (yes... I still have my
bill...), the package crossed the border on April 11th at 9am. But,
since I sent it through CanadaPost, there is no way I can track it
across the border... I wasn't going to pay 70$ to send it back with
FedEx or UPS. I already paid 55$ for the goods and I wasn't going to
waste more than that, risking it for nothing. So I spent 15$ for the
cheapest shipping that can be tracked. Besides, even through FedEx, you
still could have denied ever receiving it.
#2: I have shipped exactly 467 packages in the last 2 years (I keep
all my bills and enter the tracking numbers, names of buyers/sellers
and item # or description in an Excel file). How many packages have
been lost? ... 2, including apparently yours. The other one? An item I
sold to a shady guy that ended up screwing me and Paypal... he also
claimed he never got the package and Paypal gave him his money back...
even though CanadaPost confirmed that he got AND signed for it. See a
pattern???
#3: the fact that you NEVER replied to ANY of my emails is very
suspicious. You could have simply said that you never got them in the
first place, instead of you saying it once you have been called out to
explain. If you would have told me around 10 days after I sent them
(which would make it around the 21st of April), I would have tried to
file a claim with US Post.
#4: If I would have never sent them back to you, what would I gain for
doing what I am doing now? I never flamed you for the condition of the
displays (read first post)... I am simply trying to either get them
back or my money back. Simple as that.
#5: You state that 50$ for 4 displays sent to my door is cheap. Yes...
you are quite right. That's why I bid on them! But 55$ + 15$ to send
them back because you asked me to, to finally end up with absolutely
nothing, to me, is quite pricey, don't you think?
#6: YOU sir are the one that has everything to gain by lying about the
displays. Exactly 39.99$US to be exact, if I don't count shipping.
You know what? I know that this will probably never lead into me
getting either my rightful displays or my money back. But here's a
piece of advice... a little honesty and common sense goes a long way. I
too have been selling parts and complete games for quite some time now
and NEVER got any complaints. Not a single one. Why?
Because I give a shit.
I pack things like I would like to receive them myself. Well protected,
intact, as described AND DELIVERED. 1$ of packing materials can go a
long way. And fulfilling your business obligations and transactions
goes even further.
