Eightball Deluxe repairs

I just had my boards repaired by a reputable vendor that has been
recommended here. When I got them back and plugged them back in, all I
get is the peripheral lights on the playfield and back cabinet.
Neither the playfield itself nor the digital displays light. The
playfield doesn't reset, and the Sqawk and Talk is silent. Any easy
answers?

When I sent it in, I did have a brown wire coming from the back of the
power supply board, soldered to a white and brown striped wire which
disappeared in a wire cluster. The vendor removed this wire as
unnecessary, so now the white and brown wire on my machine hangs in
space. But the vendor is closed this week for Spring break. I would
be very grateful for some help.
