A short glossary:
ROHS is "Removal of Hazardous Substances." Everyone's afraid of the lead
in the solder now, so "ROHS compliant" parts have the leads tinned with a
lead-free solder.
DO-41 is "Diode Outline #41." This is the package type; DO-41 is standard
for 1N4007.
T/R is "Tape and Reel." This means they're supplied attached to a tape
stringer and rolled up on a reel, for machine insertion. If you buy less
than 5000, they'll cut a strip off the reel.
"Glass Passivated" refers to the way the semiconductor junction is
"grown." Not likely a point of concern for a pinball application.
The reason for sending the large catalog is, most of their customers are
buying lots more stuff than a few dozen diodes for their pinball coils.
They cater to the electronics industry as a whole; this isn't radio shack
here.
