well, Pin2k (designed by the same guys, no?) keeps highscores across
updates. no reason they didn't implement the same thing at stern...

I don't know if it's even *possible* to keep your HSTD's & settings
with a new download. Read that again. I don't know. I am sure that
it is necessary to clear everything, uuhhh, logic says that is exactly
what must happen. If it were possible, I am sure that Keith and Lyman
would provide this.
Just think about how well you will know all the possibilities of
setting up a WPT!! I would bet money that in the process of creating
new settings, you found something else to customize!! Don't lie to me,
now. Besides, the challenge of putting those scores back up there
awaits!!

what changers were made?
Good question. I got no idea.
But I did download it. Then I followed the instructions and put it on a 1G
memory stick I had. It says "up to 128M" memory sticks can be used, but my
1G worked just fine.
I will say it took a bit longer than I expected, but it worked like a
charm. One thing I'd like to see now is the ability to store high scores
and settings across updates. As we're used to, it wiped that stuff out.
Played a couple games and it seemed fairly similar. But I've only played
40 or so games on 1.06.
