Steve,
Take LOTS of pics! Also, before you remove the 4 coils that are in
each head, label them! In my Rudy, all the coils were blue, and the
color on the wires were very hard to see. It would be easier to label
what coil does what before you take them off. I wish I did, it would
have saved me a lot of headaches and time.
Also, if you heads have lost the ability to center, check to see if the
brass plugs are still installed on both sides of the frame. On mine,
they were there, but had become enlongated, and this caused my eyes to
not return to center. If these are missing, or have become enlongated,
the eyes will not center. I tried many things, but finally ended up
using shrink tubing on the ends of the centering pole, and jamming it
into place. Works fine now. Of course, you could also just replace
the brass plugs, but that might cost a few bucks. have fun!
