Didn't you say in an earlier post that you had a 1-amp fuse in the
lightbox fuse holder? It should be 10-amp.

Did you mean *only* the GI in the lightbox was dead? Does its relays
and score reels work?
Lastly, not convinced of your need/desire to jury-rig a power switch.
The game turns on nicely when coined or start button pressed. It turns
off nicely when "tapped" on bottom of cabinet. Gottlieb's EM's in this
period often had a card stapled near the coinbox that said "Advise
location that tapping bottom of cabinet will turn game off completely".
My 50's and 60's Gottliebs work this way. Consider it as part of the
charm?
