Re: OT: Plasma or LCD TV?

G,

I stumbled on this thread and didn't read the whole thing but I have
the best answer for you.

I have a client who works on these tv's for a living and I have a
friend who has the most expensive plasma on the planet.

I told my client that his picture on his sony rear projection HD-LCD
was just as good as my friends plasma monster. He told me
unequivocally that the SONY rear projection tv is the way to go, they
use the best circuitry and don't skimp on anything compared to all the
other manufacturers.

I now have a Sony 55 inch XS in my living room and a 34 inch widescreen
tube high def tv in my bedroom.

Wish I bought the 60 inch for the living room and the 55 for the
bedroom.

Look for the xs model, or the newer model, (believe they're marketing
it as 3 lcd chip technology or something). Don't let the salespeople
try to push any other model on you.

They are like a thousand dollars cheaper now then when I bought mine
less than a year ago, last I looked they were like 2500.

Bob
