Help: Laser Cue - #4 Drop target - strange problem

I have a laser cue pin everything work fine except when i drop targets 1 2
and 3 then only 4 and 5 are left if i hit targer 5 before 4 (your sposto hit
them in order if you get them out of order then it just pops them back up)
the it pops up 5 and 3 and not just the 5. it doesnt do this for any of the
other targets just the 4. Also when it pops up the 3 the light blinks on
the 3 and i have to hit it again to get to the 4 and 5. it does this
consistantly. if i hit 1 2 3 4 and 5 in order no problems...
do i have a bad chip or trace i can check?
