I picked up a mid-'30s horsetrack themed pin called "Tanforan" recently and
I'm looking for more info about it, I have had very little luck beyond it
was made by The Exhibit Supply Co., probably in 1931. I've only dealt with
'70s-'90s pins before, I'd love it if someone could point me towards some
old school pin resources.
The pin itself is in surprisingly good shape for it's age, barely any
playfield wear, the glass has just a little flaking, the cabinet artwork is
in decent shape with a few nicks and dings from moving it, it's probably
been stored dry for the past 50 years. I've yet to plug it in, I'm going
through it this weekend and cleaning it up and checking the fuses and
connections before I try... -dan
