Why? They make and sell the machine either way. It may make shipping
companies big bucks, though.

The real question is whether the NASCAR deal allows for an EU distributor
to sell one to a US customer and have it drop shipped (or never leave the
country, anyway). There are several EU pinball companies with some US ties
(like Pinball Heaven, I believe) that could buy them but ask they be
shipped to their US office for export (and then never export it). Just a
thought.
I guess what I'm getting at is I'm sure the NASCAR deal doesn't *say* they
can do that...the question is whether it is worded such that they *can't*
do that. I doubt they went too crazy with their verbage...they're probably
just supposed to only sell it to EU distributors. Which leaves the door
open for EU distributors to never actually have them shipped overseas.
