The dino moves properly-- all the switches check out fine, and the
solenoid works OK, near as I can tell. (You hear the clicking just fine
whenever he's supposed to be moving his jaws.)
He just isn't grabbing the ball when he lowers.

Worn, possibly. Could be the attachment for the plunger to the
linkage-- it currently has a screw and nut holding it in place. I'm not
sure if that was the factory original stuff, but considering the
condition of the rest of the game, I'm doubtful.
(Actually, it's not in terrible shape... but you can tell that it's been
in use commercially for over a decade.)
