Description:

I could pretty much just let the site speak for itself, but I'll go ahead
and explain what we are, and why you might want to join us. First, we're a
PBeM, though all of our posting takes place on the website itself (though
you still recieve logs via email.) Our sim is somewhat unique, in that
aside from the standard Starfleet member, and the usual civilians, you are
also allowed, if not encouraged, to explore beyond that and play members
of the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire.
A bit of history for DS12;
DS12 was started in a small organization called Task Force 12. She was
originally going to serve as the base of operations for the fleet.
However, due to unforseeable circumstances, the fleet was unable to be
maintained, and it was scrapped. However, Deep Space 12 has a few very
resilient members who fought hard to keep the sim going. Still, without
TF12 we had a lot of work ahead of us. The sim's storyline was that Task
Force 12 was a joint task force between the Romulans, Klingon's, and
Starfleet, in an effort to expand into new territories together.
As far as us, the players go, we're a small group of people, but we're all
very dedicated to seeing our sim succeed. Of course, we do have moderate
standards when it comes to writing - you don't have to be the next Stephen
King or Dan Abnett to get in, but you have to be creative, and be able to
write a coherent sentence.
We are currently looking for dedicated players who are interested in a sim
that tends to break the boundaries (always in a good way though), expand
our horizons, and really get into what Trek is all about, which is
feulling our imaginations. On the website a simple glance at the Crew
Roster will let you know what positions are open. If you see one you are
interested in, simply click the "Join" button, fill out the form - Take
your time on it too. We like it to be as complete as possible when you
fill it out - and then hit send. Our CO, Captain Emma Beckett, will get
back to you as soon as possible!
Hope to see many of you soon!
-Andrew Sage.
