Seriously, Rob, you want me to listen, you need to be nicer in

now I suspect if I said the sky was blue you'd either claim it was
orange or pull out some science spiel claiming it's just blue being
absorbed by the atmosphere or whatever just to say I'm wrong.

actually the science spiel that says your wrong is that the atmosphere
absorbs the other colors -except- for blue... thus we see a blue sky.
