Christ, did these people never hear of decent rules errata? Marine lists could be fixed easilly enough by just releasing new pages on line for the troop selection page. The new codex could be rolled out without having to re-write all the fluff / put together a load of new images, and everyone would be happy, new players and anyone who wanted it could get the new codex, old players can just download the errata.

Why the hell do we need a codex anyway? I don't understand why they attempt to make it look like they are putting a load of effort into it, when a living rulebook approach would work so much better. That way they could save money on printing costs, update the codex's regularly, and make sure everyone has access to the latest rules. Hell, I'm sure most people would be willing to pay a fee for this service, it's not like we can use a codex without spending a fortune on the minis anyway!
