the game really let me open the floodgates. I
really like the model.
And thats included my skaven.
Maybe I'll scratch build an Imperator titan for it, and just do up to the knees, assuming the rest is outside the field of view :)I'm looking forward to just having LatD tanks and daemon engines. That's my biggest beef, unless I get one of those killer pushy thingsWe fluctuate fairly randomly, but 2k is generally the upper limit for 40K.Agreed, kill team/skirmish up to 2,000 is fun. Over that it gets
tiresome playing unless you have helpers:o) Not looking forwards to

that Generals get in war movies I'm not playing.
mostly scratch built. My infantry can stay in the boxes, others can
field them.
My kill team is made of Necro scum and bounty hunters, and I just treat them as Hardened Vets. Then I'm working on a Commissar training squad for Necro, so along with my LatD stuff I'm in danger of ending up with an IG army, and a lot of it will be converted :)I'd rather play a bunch of smallish skirmishes that are part of aNowadays I play small Mordheim/necromunda style skirmish scneario-I like the smaller scale games, and it's probably about time we had
driven games and have a blast.
another Necro campaign locally. I need to get my Commissar squad up and
running first though.
campaign *any* day, I love having "characters" with some named
redshirts/NPC's gaining and losing. I found the funnest way to play is
to have your big 2,000pt army, then play side games or even some
RPG'ing with "characters" from the army. Really makes it interesting,
kind of like mmmm character developement lol.
Hell yeah.
our wfb campaign is still rolling

Part of the reaon for many of my conversions is so many troopers are
special characters with equipment and skills in skirmish games. Same
character used as a skaven night runner and a mordheim warband
nightrunner. or CSM killteam squad etc
I think getting dice not made by the Evil Empire should do the trick too...People have made it a mission to hunt down and kill my GUO, to the pointThose small side games are a great place for story and character to
where it's almost a scenario objective. I think they're just trying to
make me cry. At the moment I don't have a real personality for my DG,
nobody has really stepped forward and said "Yes, I can make a 3+ save!"
(useless *** 40K dice, I'd stop using them but I feel bound to at
least try to train them), so until I get a competent champ none of them
earns a name.
develop. Then once you care about the model your dice rolls will
improve. really. :)
