Re: Why 40k over WFB?

Looking at the Army Popularity thread it seems RGMW is a much more 40k
playing than Fantasy. I used to have the impression that Fantasy was
more popular here. Have you switched or have the WFB players left?

For the most part I think it's easier to finish a 40K army, whereas for FB you can have well over a hundred troops, it takes an insane IG player to want to field that many in 40K.

To me it's also a better look, I'm not much for the look of giant ranks of troops.

I used to be almost pure 40k, worked in a shop as 'gamesmaster' and
played 40k heaps and got bored of it. Now almost purely play fantasy.
Also I just find fantasy more intresting to convert for, at least
thats my mood at the moment. The new 40k CSM codex has again sort of
killed any inkling 40k mood I had 6 months ago.

It's going to add a few more units to my Death Guard, I'll finally pull my Termies out of their packets and whip up a squad of bikes out of the bits I have lying around. It's a pretty sanitised list though, not incredibly exciting but at least Nurgle have a couple more options now.
