Now who's getting a little crazy? Sisters are not happy campers in

Hmm... well, plain old Battle Sisters don't have much hope in close
combat, beyond strength in numbers. OTOH, as you point out--FPs only
delay the inevitable--this is true, but Sisters can use that to their
advantage; if you can use FPs to keep something locked in combat for a
round or two longer than the other player hoped, that can often muck up
a player's strategy, especially if they count on only one particular
unit for close-combat power. That's _really_ what they're good for in
HTH, but it's more about delay tactics than actually being GOOD at
something. :)
Seraphim and Celestians and of course Canonesses can hold their own a
little bit better--esp. Seraphim with 2 attacks and their ability to
hit-n-run. Still, yeah, they are not a HTH army by a long shot.
You have a point about the tieing up, but I tend to hit the entire
army at once. Hit a Sisters army with a close-combat oriented army
across the board all at once, and they can't support each other. At
that point they are in serious trouble.
