John, you said "e.g. Bridge" . How sure are you on that. What did you
mean by "a tricks game"? Could it have been possibly trick-forming and
NOT trick-taking?
Bridge is a trick-taking game. Mahjong maybe said is a trick-MAKING
game.
TAKING or MAKING, that's the question.
Where can one search further into the question? I believe that TRAIL
is of critical importance in the history of mahjong.
