Re: godiscussions.com likes fearless leadership too!

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that Don *does* lose money on the
site. He has some Google ads, but I'd be astounded if they paid the
bills. I've been astounded before, however...

"all his tireless efforts into banning people"?
Rather hyperbolic, isn't it?
All his tireless efforts into building a great Go forum, you mean. For
free.
No - it costs him money, actually.
And seen the thousands of participants - none of them getting abused by
the
likes of you and your buddies - he is doing a swell job.

One in seven people are psychopaths, and some psychopaths simply can't
restrain themselves. Without policing, a society or community breaks
down
into violence, due to psychopaths and sociopaths and those too lazy and
cowardly to step up to the plate.

To ban a member of the go community, not some troll that comes along
and
knows absolutely nothing about go, but a member that has played for
over
25 years.

I object to the fact that you call me a troll that "knows nothing about
Go".
I wrote popular Go freeware and my comp. Go research was used by
Microsoft.
I studied Go for over 5 years.

Where were you protesting when I got banned on Sensei's Library?
If I am such a troll, why did you buy my software?

You say it's OK to ban trolls - your lack of protest to my banning
implies
you deem me one - you are lying, again. I am not a troll but a
hard-working
member of the Go community, providing, apart from a commercial service,
a
popular, useful and free service:

www.moyogo.com

Godiscussions gets to pick the naughty players and bans them from
reading
the forum.

The Internet is maturing. Psychopaths are identified at an earlier
stage,
and communities are being protected effectively, without damaging the
patient or the community. Live with it.
