Hello, I would like to request some assistance for some analysis I amIn France, the federation maintains a rating list. It is updated
performing. I need to know how promotion works in each European
Country, if you could help me find out that would be great. Tournament
results based, club performance based, national based, do you have a
promotion system at all? What is it?
from the results of tournaments with the algorithm specified here
(in French): < http://ffg.jeudego.org/echelle/echelle_algo.php >.
People in France also have ranks (5k, 2d, etc) which in many other
countries initialise and influence ratings. What I am really after is
how ranks are assigned in France.
If what you are asking is how the ranting list works, you will indeeed have to check at the adress given above.
