Re: What's wrong with Hans-Georg?

From those who discussed the issues with me on IGS, the only
"reasonable" person I met was actually Tweet. When I tried to talk to
you, you threw hissy fits and left. Other they this, nobody talked,
they just scurry, it seems.

to you is that for years
you blindly, unthinkingly, and in the face of all evidence supplied by
people that knew the particulars supported a thief? So, ok, Bantari,
the reason so many will not talk to you is that for years you blindly,
unthinkingly, and in spite of all evidence, including his confession,
supported a thief.

Not blindly.
Not unthinkingly.
This is just more of your strong-words-propaganda for which you do not
have any arguments. And you cannot have, since you do not know what I
was thinking.

As for "all evidence", the only *evidence* I seen was what we all agree
on, namely that NNGS used IGS protocols without permission. From what I
observed in this group, the jury is still out if that was a "theft" or
merely "not nice". The rest is mouthfoaming like the one you did about
KGS being a copy of IGS. Lol.

Show me real evidence other than "Eric had access to IGS code therefore
NNGS *must* be a copy" and I will retract what I said. Until then, the
above is not "evidence"....not even an good argument.

But be it as it may.
Putting aside any moral judgements, however, I consider NNGS to be a
good thing because it allowed go servers to sprout all over the place.
We had polish server, german server, canadian server, and so on... not
to mention all the big asian servers like wing and lgs, which all have
their roots in NNGS and in what Eric did. All this gave internet Go a
tremendous push forward, and ultimately lead to situation we have right
now, which I consider as being pretty good.

So you see, I just have a different opinion.
Not allowed in your sandbox?
I see.

I happen to have a different opinion on a lot of things, among others I
fdo not believe that KGS is just a copy of IGS, like you do.

But be it as it may.
So the fact that years ago I supported something that is long gone and
does not exist anymore, and a person who vanished from the scene is not
active anymore, is reason enough to leave their favorite place just
because i show up?

How long do you "scurrying" people hold grudges??

But be it as it may.
Please, tell your "scurrying" friends that, unlike you, I *do* have an
open mind, and, unlike you, I *do* accept arguments if they are
logical, and that , also unlike you, I *can* be convinced.

And, unlike you, I do *not* foam and throw hissy fits when confronted
with facts and real arguments. And, unlike you, i do *not* become
vulgar when talking to those who disagree with me. So they are safe.
