Banning Basics 101

Dear beloved readers and friends on rec.games.go,

I am so glad to be able to chat with all my friends here tonight! Tonights
topic is a refresher lesson in good banning practices. If you run a go
server or are in charge of a PTA group or head up a bowling league or
command a boy-scout troop you need to be well versed in banning practices.

Of course good banning practice number one is - all together class ----

BAN PEOPLE FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR WHILE AWAY FROM THE GROUP.

thats right, if you run, lets say a go server, you want to ban people for
their behavior while they are off the server, as opposed to their behavior
while they are on the server. If you run a bowling league, then find
reasons to kick them out for their behavior off the lanes. If you run a boy
scout troop, then be poised to trash their membership for anything that
might undermine the leadership of the chief boy scout leader.

Lets say it again class, but this time applying it specifically to go
servers:

BAN PEOPLE FOR THEIR OFF SERVER BEHAVIOR
