Hi Julian,

I would have jumped into this if it were some two years back. I am
deeply entrenched in one World Building efforts already. It is called
the realm of Chaos And Order. Another issue is that I am not versed in
DnD mechanics.

But surely, I would like to discuss about the scope and also on
specifics of process done to get into World Building.

For works already done on Chaos And Order:
http://s6.invisionfree.com/chaosandorder - A small community (now
dormant), that play tests the world in free form
http://www.blogcharm.com/cao - A blog to be up do date with happenings
of Chaos And Order

Language creation efforts:
Proto-Pasen Creation -

Proto-Pasen Syllables -

Those links above are what I and one of my friends have developed till
now. We have been busy with our jobs, so there has not been much work.

But I would sure love to get back into it, if it means having
discussions with other World-Builders on specifics.

Looks pretty cool! Don't know how much help I can be to you, though.
For starters, the main books I'm working on now are for first edition
AD&D, which has been out of print for some time. I got the idea to do
my stuff from a dream I had, where I was looking through all my gaming
stuff and realised I had some books that were for first edition, but
not from TSR. They looked like TSR products, but everything in them was
entirely new. When I woke, I decided I'd try and bring those books from
my dreams out into the real world. Two are rules books, and one is a
campain world. I've started on the rules books already. The real trick
for me will be to produce artwork that looks like it's from first
edition, yet doesn't all look the same, because I'll have to do it all
myself. Anyway, the whole idea is to make this stuff look and feel just
like first edition AD&D. Fortunately, I have plenty of old TSR stuff to
use as reference.

Well, if there's anything I can do for you, just email me, and I'll see
what I can come up with.

Well, we're not really looking for anything mechanics based from people
- we're looking for ideas. Organizations, locales, etc - things that
don't belong to any version of D&D.

So if you have any spare unique ideas for places or events, let us
know!

Hi all,

Well, I have no idea of any of the D&D or AD&D mechanics, because, book
shops around this part of the world do not sell those books. So, all I
have are ideas. Free form ideas. I tend to be a kind of storyteller
than adventure weaver, but I do the later one fairly well.
